So I started applying for my second internship since I need two (one for my first major and one for my minor). I applied to three non-profit organization internships so far. I should find out if I have been accepted in about a month or so. If I get accepted I will either be working in Chicago or Washington D.C. for Spring or Summer of 2009! The bad part is that it will cost me between $3,000- $5,000 depending where I end up. But this includes transportation (without plane ticket), meal tickets, lodging at a university and basically everything BUT spending money.
On another note, my current internship is not going well. My supervisor has a pole stuck up her butt and my job is so easy that a monkey could do it. I was also informed that it is unpaid... so, no gas money. So I'm extremely fortunate to be working two jobs this summer. At least one is paid.
